Training out of Penzance, Helston and Falmouth in West Cornwall,
you’ll find some of the nicest (and possibly strangest) bunch of people you could ever meet;
all waiting to take you down, sweep, choke and arm bar you.
Our proven coaching methods yield fast gains in performance, improved fitness,
increased problem solving abilities and all round strength whilst encouraging
a healthy playful frame of mind that ensures that you’ll have fun and enjoy the training.
Pure Grappling is committed to providing a safe, welcoming and respectful training environment for everyone. All members, coaches and visitors are expected to follow this code of conduct at all times.
We operate a zero tolerance policy for bullying, harassment, hazing or sexualised conduct. Discrimination based on any protected characteristic will not be tolerated. Everyone is welcome here, and everyone deserves to feel safe.
When training, your priorities should always be in this order:
Coaches and senior members should be aware of the position of authority they hold. All interactions should remain appropriate, and any interaction with a minor should also be transparent. Private one-to-one messaging with under-18s is not permitted unless a parent or guardian can see it. Use official club channels wherever possible.
The same standards of respect and behaviour that apply on the mat also apply online. Bullying, harassment or inappropriate conduct via social media or messaging is treated the same as in-person behaviour.
If something happens that makes you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, please speak up. You can report a concern through any of the options listed on our Safeguarding page. Retaliation against anyone who raises a concern will not be tolerated and may result in suspension or expulsion.
